A refreshing read. A new idea for once. Definitely more for young adults. All I could think about while reading it was how much my teenage self would have loved it. I would have related so much to the main character’s angst, anger, sadness, and frustrations.
It takes place in England and got a bit political. Some of the book was a bit boring because they kept just repeating the same points over and over again in different words. I’m not sure if this was meant to help young readers understand the point, but it seemed like beating a dead horse to me.
Overall, very cool sci-fi concept of reincarnation and re-living history. Had a bit of ‘The Giver’ feel to it for a while.
