The Picture of Dorian Gray

4 stars

It’s an interesting story of vanity… and closeted gay men?

The character Dorian starts out likeable and grows more questionable over time.

Because it was written a long time ago, it can be a bit harder to digest at times. There’s lots of long conversations. But considering its age, it was still engaging. Just at a slower pace. It was definitely an interesting read. Certain aspects were over-detailed and others under-detailed.

Some of the theories and comments on women were hilarious to the point that they weren’t even insulting.
