It looks like this was part of a series and i think i would have enjoyed it more if i read the others. A good 75%+ of the book was character backstory, with very little plot lune.
The description presented this as a murder mystery with stolen art. While the art storyline was present from the beginning, the murder mystery party part was only at the end.
