A really unique book of fictional first-nations stories. The author is from New Zealand but has ancestors from both there and Vancouver Island. So she has worked both cultures into the narrative.
Like any book of short stories some were more interesting than others. But I always love when a story takes place in a location I can really picture well.
Would definitely recommend.
