The book was just okay. I liked that it was locally written and took place here on the island.
You’re supposed to pity the main character who doesn’t have her life together, but she grows more unlikable as the book goes on.
Once they start executing the funeral for the climax of the story the main character was really obnoxious and terrible. She did nothing but dodge responsibilities and wait for someone else to clean up the mess. They did a terrible job of planning and executing that event.
