Wideacre

The book starts off good, about a girl who’s passionate about her family’s beautiful land, and wishes she could inherit it. But it really takes a turn with the main character doing anything she can to get what she wants, including murder and seducing her brother.

There’s a ton of sex in the book, but so much of it is incestuous that it’s hard to enjoy it. And the main character who starts off likeable, grows harder to empathize with as the book goes on, and becomes more and more unlikable and unpleasant.

I’m curious to read the rest of the trilogy. But wouldn’t recommend this one, or ever read it again.
